Project story
The challenge
Kuwait Food Bank & Relief runs many food, water and relief projects at once, alongside zakat and general giving. Donors needed to find a project, see how far it is from its target and give in a few steps, in Arabic or English and on any device.
What we built
We built the site on Vega Donate with a home page for featured campaigns and the organisation's achievements, and separate sections for projects, in-kind projects, general donations and zakat. Each project page shows its target and progress, offers preset or custom amounts as a one-time or monthly gift, and lets the donor give on behalf of someone else, share the project or add it to a cart.
Key features delivered
- Featured campaigns and an achievements strip on the home page
- Sections for projects, in-kind projects, general donations and zakat
- Project pages with a target and progress bar
- Preset or custom amounts, given once or monthly
- Gift donations and sharing
- Donation cart and a donors leaderboard
- Arabic and English, with a bottom menu on mobile
These are only the highlights. The project includes many more features across its admin panel, user experience and integrations.
